Schools are reopening!*

Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni announced a new delay for schools to reopen over the month of September. 

Rise Uganda’s team is excited to see the children return to school.

* Update (23.09.21): Unfortunately, primary and secondary institutions will reopen in January 2022 according to the latest statement from President Museveni. Efforts to vaccinate school staff should increase over the next months.
